    The donkey said: 'Come with me to Bremen.'

  8. Razem znaleźli smutnego kota.

    Together they found a sad cat.

    The cat could no longer catch mice.

  10. Trzy zwierzęta kontynuowały swoją drogę.

    The three animals continued on their way.

    Then they found a scared rooster.

    The animals decided to travel together.

    It was night and they saw a house with light.

    Inside the house there were robbers.

    The animals made a loud noise.

  17. Złodzieje uciekli.

    The robbers ran away.

  18. Zwierzęta weszły do domu.

    The animals went into the house.

  19. Zjadły jedzenie złodziei.

    They ate the robbers' food.

  20. Potem poszły spać.

    Then they went to sleep.

  21. Później tej nocy jeden ze złodziei wrócił.

    Later that night, one of the robbers came back.

  22. Kot go podrapał, a pies ugryzł.

    The cat scratched him and the dog bit him.

  23. Osioł go kopnął, a kogut zapiał.

    The donkey kicked him and the rooster crowed.

  24. Złodziej uciekł bardzo przestraszony.

    The robber escaped very scared.

  25. Kiedy wrócił do swoich przyjaciół, powiedział:

    When he got back to his friends, he said:

    'There is a witch in the house!'

  27. ‘Podrapała mi twarz swoimi długimi paznokciami.’

    'She scratched my face with her long nails.'

  28. ‘Mężczyzna z nożem ugryzł mnie w nogę.’

    'A man with a knife bit my leg.'

  29. ‘Olbrzym uderzył mnie kijem.’

    'A giant hit me with a stick.'

  30. ‘A sędzia krzyczał z dachu.’

    'And a judge shouted from the roof.'

  31. Złodzieje bardzo się przestraszyli.

    The robbers were very afraid.

  32. Nigdy nie wrócili do domu.

    They never returned to the house.

  33. Więc zwierzęta nigdy nie pojechały do Bremy.

    So, the animals never went to Bremen.

  34. Zamiast tego zamieszkały w domu.

    Instead, they stayed to live in the house.

  35. Nauczyły się, że razem mogą zrobić wszystko, co potrzebne.

    They learned that together they could do all they needed.
