'A giant hit me with a stick.'
‘Et un juge a crié depuis le toit.’
'And a judge shouted from the roof.'
Les voleurs ont eu très peur.
The robbers were very afraid.
Ils ne sont jamais retournés à la maison.
They never returned to the house.
Ainsi, les animaux ne sont jamais allés à Brême.
So, the animals never went to Bremen.
Au lieu de cela, ils sont restés vivre dans la maison.
Instead, they stayed to live in the house.
