   Once upon a time, there was a thirsty crow.

2. El cuervo volaba buscando agua.

   The crow was flying in search of water.

3. Vio un cántaro en el suelo.

   He saw a pitcher on the ground.

4. El cántaro tenía un poco de agua en el fondo.

   The pitcher had a little water at the bottom.

5. El cuervo no podía alcanzar el agua.

   The crow could not reach the water.

6. Intentó meter su pico, pero era demasiado corto.

   He tried to dip his beak, but it was too short.

7. Entonces tuvo una idea.

   Then he had an idea.

8. Recogió piedras pequeñas.

   He collected small stones.

9. Echó las piedras en el cántaro una por una.

   He dropped the stones into the pitcher one by one.

10. El nivel del agua subió.

    The water level rose.

11. Finalmente, el cuervo pudo beber.

    Finally, the crow was able to drink.
