1. My favourite bakery was closed that day,

   내가 가장 좋아하는 빵집이 그날 문을 닫았어,

2. So I just turned and walked another way.

   그래서 나는 그냥 돌아서서 다른 길로 걸었어.

3. The morning bus was gone; I missed my ride,

   아침 버스가 떠나버렸어; 나는 탈 수 없었어,

4. So I just stood out in the rain and sighed.

   그래서 나는 그냥 비 속에 서서 한숨을 쉬었어.

5. A stranger said, “Want half?” with his umbrella high.

   한 낯선 사람이 우산을 높이 들어 올리며 "절반 줄까?"라고 말했어.

6. So we walked the same way, staying close and dry.

   그래서 우리는 같은 길을 걸으며 서로 가까이서 비를 피했어.

7. We share our mornings now, just you and me,

   이제 우리는 아침을 함께 보내, 오직 너와 나만,

8. So thank you, little closed-down bakery.

   작고 문 닫은 빵집아, 고마워.
