I remain seated and at peace in the shade of the pine and oak,
looking at this forest with its ancient and noble spirit.
Its deep roots hold the water and protect the land,
offering shelter to the thousands of beings who inhabit the mountain range.
The beech, the fir and the maple save us from so much heat,
weaving a net high above that covers us in peace and coolness.
Surrounded by linden trees and willows, I finally feel sheltered.
The forest is the home of the world, and my soul rests in silence.
